 Madhya Pradesh Known as a hub for many religions like Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Madhya Pradesh, is located at the centre of India. Kaliadeh Palace : Situated 8km north of Ujjain, Kaliadeh Palace is situated in an island in the river Shipra. The palace was constructed on a Hindu Sun Temple, the carvings of which still exist on the bridge to this beautiful island. The central hall of the palace is well surrounded with the galleries all over.

Lakshmi Narayana Temple : Situated in Bhopal, this famous temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, who is worshipped here by the devotees. One can see a panoramic view of Bhopal from this temple that is situated on the Arera Hills. The temple is also known as the Birla Temple because the construction of this temple was done by the leading industrial family of India i.e. The Birlas. Goddess Lakshmi (the Hindu Goddess of Wealth) and her divine consort, Vishnu (the Preserver of the Universe also known as Narayana) are the main deities of this temple. The sandy-yellowish walls of this temple adds an old-worldly charm to this temple, which are dazzling with shine even today.

Khajuraho : Known for showcasing the World Heritage Site of India, the temples gained their popularity very late. The walls of these historical shrines are best carved with hundreds of very exquisite images that are engraved on the interior as well as exterior walls of these temples. These images definitely remind us of the most glorious past of India. The sensuality of these sculptures adds uniqueness to these temples that can attract anyone towards it. Though some features of these temples are identical- like they are built on higher platforms above the ground level, they all have entrance hall and a sanctum sanctorum, pyramid roofs with horizontal layers etc but this is a truth that all these temples and their architectural designs are different from each other. Some of the famous temples are the Lakshmana and Vishwanath Temples, the Kandriya Mahadev, Jagadami and Chitragupta Temples etc.

Bandhavgarh National Park : Though this National Park is small as compared to others doted across the nation, still the park provides shelter to a wide variety of animals like carnivores, primates, ungulates, reptiles and birds. Spread over an area of about 448sq km, this national park has at least 22 species of mammals and about 250 species of birds.
