Being national park of India in 1952, it is considered as world heritage site. The virgin beauty of mystical valley has successfully lured botanists, adventure lovers and nature lovers.

Haridwar : Meaning the gateway to god, Haridwar is the place where river ganga descends to plains. Har-ki-pori is the most holy place where hundreds of devotees take dip in the wholly water of river ganga. At twilight, during the performance of aarti, the golden diyas keep floating in the river offer enchanting view of ghat to visitors. The Chanda Devi temple and the Maya Devi temples are heart of the city. Another important temple is the Mansa Devi located at the atop Birla Parvat.
